To configure the ChargeItPro payment gateway for your Aluvii software instance, you will need to first navigate to the Administration activity. This activity has a three gear icon and the label administration as shown in the image below:
Once in the administration activity, you will see a list of tabs across the top of the page. Please click on the Configuration tab as shown in the image below:
You will now be presented with configuration form. Please scroll down until you see the Payment Gateway form as shown in the image below:
(Please note that the red squares do not appear on your page)
From the Gateway Processor drop down, please select ChargeItPro. The Gateway Action URL will be the following:
You will need to enter the Gateway Online Key given by ChargeItPro into the applicable field (This is sometimes called the Source Key). You will need to add the given PIN into the Gateway Online Pin field. The given API Key will need to be entered into the Gateway API Key (This is sometimes called the Merchant Key). The given merchant name will need to be entered into the Gateway Merchant Name field.
Please note that ALL the fields with the exception of the CMSSliceKeyField will need to have values entered into the respective fields. If they are not entered exactly, you will get the following error when attempting to charge a card:
Once you have added those values, please click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the Configuration form. You will see a confirmation popup in green when this occurs, at the top right of your screen as shown in the image below:
If this doesn't appear, please check the form for any missing data. All require fields will show a message below them if you did not enter a value. An example is shown in the image below:
It is always prudent that you test your changes. Please make a sample sale through Aluvii and verify with your credit card processor that you have a valid transaction processed.
