Zip Codes

Zip code (or postal codes) are found on many forms throughout the Aluvii application.  To add or edit zip codes in those drop down fields, please follow the instructions below.

Zip Code Grid

The zip code grid can be found in the administration activity, under the Locations primary tab strip, and Zip Codes secondary tab as shown in the image below:

This grid has the standard grid header with a drop down of functions, a clear filters button, and a show deleted records check box.  

Adding a Zip Code

To add a Zip Code to the available options in Aluvii, please click on the Zip Code Options drop down at the top of the grid as shown in the image below:

Once you click on the Add Zip Code, you will be presented with the Add Zip Code form.  The form has three required fields: ZipCode, Type, and Primary City.  These required fields are indicated with a green label.  The rest of the fields are not required.  The following is an image of the Add Zip Code form:

Once you are happy with your entries, please click the add button at the bottom of the form.  The form will close, the grid will refresh and you will be presented with a green popup indicating that the save was successful.  

Editing A Zip Code

The first step in editing a zip code is to find and click on the zip code you wish to edit in the grid.  Once you click on the record, the line will highlight as shown in the image below:

Once you have the record selected, please use the Zip Code Options drop down to click the Edit Zip Code option as shown in the image below:

Once you click the Edit Zip Code, you will be presented with the Edit Zip Code form.  The form has three required fields, ZipCode, Type, and Primary City.  These required fields are indicated with a green label.
